Merry Monday everyone! Today I’m sending cheer with gingerbread people! These cookie people are so cute, and I think the Pecan Pie ink color is spot on for gingerbread.
Details:
- Poppy Parade Cardstock base, 8-1/2″x 5-1/2″, folded at 4-1/4″
- Merry Bright & Bold DSP layer, 5-1/4″x 4″
- Vellum Cardstock layer cropped with the largest of the Scalloped Contours Dies
- Gingerbread People, stamped with Pecan Pie ink onto Basic White
- I took a strip of white approximately 2-1/2″x 8-1/2″ and stamped three gingerbread people. Make sure your photopolymer stamp is well “seasoned” and put a foam cushion under it to stamp, such as a Pierce Mat, for even coverage.
- Stamp the face with black ink.
- Add three cropped Poppy Parade heart buttons on each.
- Glue 2 of the cookies to the Vellum, and add the third with Dimensionals.
- On the back of the Vellum, put glue behind the cookies to hide the glue from the front.
- Add “Sending Cheer” stamped in Shaded Spruce on Basic White, and cropped with the puffy die, with Dimensionals.
- Stamp and crop the holly leaves and berries using Shaded Spruce and Poppy Parade ink, then attach with Dimensionals.
I hope my card brings you cheer on this Monday morning! Have a happy week! See you on Wednesday for the Pals Blog Hop!
