Saturday Special

Hmmm…what do you do when your friend borrows the stamp set that you want to use more than any other…

you pull out the matching framelits and your collection of Designer Series Paper!
I think I love the way this wreath looks, made from Into the Woods DSP and a gold foil doily underneath.
The wreath is hanging on the side of a barn (Farmers Market DSP).
I used the Wonderful Wreath Framelits to cut the wreath and the hole in the middle of the doily, then glued them together, offsetting them enough to let the gold shine through.  That perky red button is from the Home for Christmas collection and the bow is Gold Cord.
I heat embossed the greeting from Peaceful Wreath using Gold Metallic ink and Gold Embossing Powder onto a strip of Vellum, back it on Whisper White and glued that to a banner of Mossy Meadow.  The wreath is popped up with Dimensionals.
On the inside, I heat embossed the greeting from Versatile Christmas, again using the gold ink and powder.  That cute little star is from Santa’s Gifts.

I cannot believe it is October 31st already!  I want to wish each of you a safe and fun Halloween, and tomorrow — out come the Thanksgiving decorations!
Thanks for stopping by today!
