I finally busted into my Ringed With Nature Bundle today! I have to admit, I was a bit intimidated and confused by this bundle, but once I watched Mary Deatherage’s video, I was eager to try. Thanks, Mary! So I made this Ringed With Nature Anniversary card. [BTW, today is my wedding anniversary of 47 years! Happy Anniversary to us, Rod!]
The background paper is a Sale-a-bration item, Rings of Love DSP. Pay attention because today is the final day of Sale-a-bration and this paper is awesome. You want it! It’s free with a $50 purchase up to 11:59 pm tonight.
Card Details:
- Crumb Cake card base, 8-1/2″x 5-1/2″
- Soft Suede layer, 5″x 3-3/4″
- Rings of Love DSP, 4-7/8″x 3-5/8″
- Tree rings, Soft Suede and Crumb Cake, made with tree Rings Hybrid Embossing Folder
- Sentiment from Ringed With Nature, heat embossed with gold embossing powder
- Leaves/branches dies cut with Garden Green, Calypso Coral, and Gold Metallic Specialty Paper
- Linen Thread
Putting the card together is pretty straight forward. After gluing the DSP to the Soft Suede layer, I wrapped Linen Thread around the layers three times and secured the ends to the back with Dimensionals. I tied the double bow and adhered it with a Glue Dot. Once the card front was completed, I added more Dimensionals to the back of the Soft Suede layer and attached it to the card base.
Here’s a side-glance to see all of the texture and shine ~

Happy Anniversary Karen! Nice Masculine card.
Such a great Anniversary card, Karen! You are so right about the DSP. It’s wonderful and FREE! Happy, happy Anniversary to you and Rod. I bet it certainly doesn’t feel like 47 years, though!
Thanks, Rosanne! No, time is going by so fast! It does not feel that long!
