Hmmm…I may be mixing up my biomes here, but I think Quiet Meadow with Delicate Desert make a nice pairing! Hi! It’s Thursday and time for a Create With Connie & Mary challenge. This week we have a sketch to create from. Here is the sketch ~
And here is my card ~
Card Details:
- Thick Very Vanilla Cardstock base, 11″x 4-1/4″, scored and folded at 5-1/2″
- Very Vanilla Cardstock card front, 5-1/2″x 4-1/4″, textured with a Basics 3D Embossing Folder
- Delicate Desert, 2 pieces, (vertical) 5″x 3″, (horizontal) 3″x 3-1/2″
- Cajun Craze strip, 4″x 1/2″
- Very Vanilla scrap to stamp the flower image from Quiet Meadow
- Sentiment also from Quiet Meadow, stamped with Versamark and heat embossed with white embossing powder
- 3 copper Brushed Metallic Dots
I colored the floral with Stampin’ Blends ~ Old Olive, Pale Papaya, and Cajun Craze. This particular image doesn’t have a coordinating die, so I fussy-cut it out with Paper Snips.
Everything is glued flat, except the light desert rectangle, which is adhered with Dimensionals.

Have a great weekend!
