Painted Pumpkins (Birthday)

Have you been enjoying the Painted Pumpkins bundle this season? I love this set – possibly my favorite Fall set to date! This card is for my grandson who has an October birthday. I think he is going to love the interactive feature this card includes!

Here’s a look at the front:

I used our retired cloud embossing folder for the sky with Balmy Blue Cardstock.

The fence and gate are cut from the dies and Pecan Pie Two-toned Cardstock. After cropping it out, I scuffed up the surface with a sandpaper block to give it the rustic look.

Here’s the interactive part:

Tip: The two-toned cardstock is thinner than regular cardstock, which means the gate was a bit wobbly, especially after sanding it. So I cut a second gate out of regular Pecan Pie Cardstock and glued it to the back of the first one. Now he can open and close it as often as he wants without ripping it off!

The pumpkins are cropped from Pumpkin Pie, Daffodil Delight, Granny Apple Green, and Garden Green Cardstock scraps. The vines are Garden Green. The stems are Crumb Cake.

I’m sure you have seen this bundle by now, but here’s a picture merely for reference ~

PAINTED PUMPKINS BUNDLE (ENGLISH)

I’m sad to say, the bundle is unavailable due to the decorative masks. But the stamp set and dies are available. I’ll link those products below.

Just a fun little surprise card for any Fall birthday!

Have a great weekend!
