Ornate Style Gate Fold

This week’s TGIF Challenge was to make a card with a Belly Band. I took out my new stamp set and made an Ornate Style Gate Fold card!

Here’s the banner for the challenge:

and here’s the stamp set that got me started:

I took the large flower image and stamped it with Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto Whisper White Cardstock, then colored it with my Blends. I fussy cut out the image and attached a 1-1/2″ wide belly band made with Pineapple Punch DSP to either side.

Blends colors: Granny Apple Green, Lovely Lipstick, Pineapple Punch, Pumpkin Pie, and Mango Melody.

To create the gatefold, I scored a 5-1/2″x 8-1/2″piece of Granny Apple Green Cardstock at 2-1/8″ from each side in landscape position. I ran the whole thing through my die-cutting machine with the Layered Leaves 3D Embossing Folder. For the inside, I found a sentiment from Waterfront and colored another small flower from the Ornate set.

The tiny THANK YOU on the front is from Label Me Bold. Three green Noble Peacock Rhinestones add a touch of sparkle.
