Merriest Moments for CCMC742

It’s another Color Challenge For Create With Connie & Mary! This week we are working with Poppy Parade, Petal Pink, and Mint Macaron. I decided to use Merriest Moments for CCMC742. Here is the Color Board:

Measurements:

• Poppy Parade Cardstock base, 8-1/2″x 5-1/2″, scored and folded at 4-1/4″
• Basic White Cardstock, 4-3/4″x 3-1/2″ for front layer and 5-1/4″x 4″ for inside
• Basic White scraps for poinsettias

Stamping Details:

• I used the Merriest Moments Stamp Set ~ Poppy Parade for the sentiment and Mint Macaron for the foliage on the front white panel. To give a variety of shades on the leaves, I used first, second, and third generation stamping.
• For the sentiment, I stamped once with Poppy Parade, then a second time with Versamark and heat embossed with Clear Emboss Powder.
• I stamped the poinsettias with Petal Pink on a separate piece of Basic White and cut them out by hand. For the centers I used Poppy Parade and Wink of Stella.

Putting it all together:

• I adhered the poinsettias with Dimensionals.
• For the final touch of sparkle, I scattered some Iridescent Rhinestones.
• Last, I glued the stamped panel to the card base with Stampin’ Seal.
