Good Monday Morning! First Monday in March! March is my birthday month, so I think I’ll be focusing on birthday cards this month. To start things off, I have a “Masculine on Monday” card for you.
To me, “masculine” means CAS (clean and simple), with some great color and low on embellishments. I think this card fits the bill.
While Country Club DSP has its focus on golf, there are some wonderful prints in it as well, perfect for the non-golfer.
Card Recipe:
- Garden Green Cardstock, 8-1/2″x 5-1/2″, scored and folded at 4-1/4″
- Country Club DSP, argyle print, 5-1/4″x 2-1/4″
- Country Club DSP, plaid print, 5-1/4″x 1″
- Night of Navy Cardstock, 3″ square
- Whisper White Cardstock, 2-1/4″ square, 5-1/4″x 1/8″ strip
- Pear Pizzazz Cardstock, scrap
I used the Stitched Shapes circle die and Layering Circles die for the sentiment, but punches would also work well. I found the feather die in the In The Tropics Dies. This die set is a must-have, in my opinion. Click here to see a card I made using the pineapple die.
Well? What do you think about my Masculine on Monday card? If you have a golfer to give it to, simply trade out the feathers for a couple of golf tees or golf clubs. You can find those in the Clubhouse Bundle! It’s all about versatility and using different sets together to personalize YOUR card.
