Did you know that in Hawaii, the pineapple is the symbol for “Welcome”? This Tropical Oasis Pineapple welcomes you with an incredible amount of texture. It literally invites you to touch it!
My photo doesn’t show it very well, but this pineapple die embosses as well as cuts all the little pineapple bracts. It’s a very clever and realistic design – so fun to play with!
I glued it to a panel that I embossed with the Coastal Weave 3D Embossing Folder. More texture! And the beautiful Tropical Oases Designer Series Paper surrounds the pineapple with its lilies and plumeria.
I added Wink of Stella to the plumeria images on the inside after stamping them with So Saffron ink. The glitter brush brought out the color a bit more and added a great subtle hint of sparkle.
For the last bit of texture, I added three small flowers from the set, in Pool Party and Real Red, with a little metal hibiscus from the Tropical Oasis Trinkets. A Linen Thread bow ties it all together!
