Love You Berry Much (for CSF #915)

For my post in Create with Stamping Friends this week, I’ve chosen Cute as a Bug DSP and the sentiment from Filled with Sweetness, “Love you berry much.” The berry paper and the sentiment are made for each other, don’t you think?

Here’s our sketch challenge for the week:

And here’s my berry sweet card:

filled with sweetness, cute as a bug dsp, stylish shapes dies, love you card idea, #csf915, stampin up, karen hallam

I’m going full disclosure here and admit that I made a mistake. Can you see it? The DSP strips were supposed to connect in an uninterrupted pattern. But. I glued the top one upside down! (groan! what a rookie mistake!) It was glued solid and I couldn’t pull it up. I only had enough of this cute paper left to cut one more piece, which I did, and glued it over the top of the upside down one. Did you think it was wonky? Yeah, because it is!

So. If you are CASEing this card, don’t do that 😬. Make sure your strips follow the pattern and are all going the right direction!

Recipe:
  • Very Vanilla Cardstock base, 8-1/2″x 5-1/2″, folded at 4-1/4″
  • Mossy Meadow Cardstock, 5″x 3-3/4″

  • Basic Beige 3/8″ Classic Ribbon, 5″ to wrap around and 7″ to tie a bow (marked down to $5.70 for 10 yards!)
  • Stylish Shapes Die, 2-1/2″ circle, Very Vanilla Cardstock
  • Fussy Cut from Cute as a Bug DSP and glue to circle
  • Sentiment from Filled with Sweetness, stamped in Gorgeous Grape

Wonky or not, I still think this card is pretty cute!
