I’m wondering… Do you have lots of old DSP like I do? Here we are, about to usher in a new catalog with some new beautiful DSP (of which I will want all!) But wait! I haven’t used up most of the old stuff! Time to brainstorm ~ how can we use up the pretty paper we own and make room for some new?
Let’s share some ideas!
I found several sheets of Rain or Shine still in my stash. And even though it’s been retired for some time, I can’t get rid of it ’cause it’s sooo cute! I made a card to share today that gives you an idea for this playful DSP.
I was looking out the window at the rain and this old saying popped into my head. No — it’s not a stamp. I typed it from my computer and cropped the two lines out with Happy Little Things Dies.
I fussy cut the images from Rain or Shine DSP and glued the whole thing together. Here’s the inside ~
This sentiment comes from Beach Day in our current Mini Catalog.
Do you still have this DSP?
Please share some ideas we can all benefit from as we make room for the new papers coming in May! I’ll keep thinking and posting as well as share your ideas.

Cute card Karen! I don’t have that DSP but I sure have a tub FULL of other retired DSP. Sigh. Story of my stampin life!
Such a fun card. We had rain today too but more of a drizzle. I have some left as well as a ton of other stuff. Even though Mike got his sutures out on Thursday he is still going stir crazy. He still has the pins in the toes. I have to clean them daily and Reba Dave them. Teddy is having good and bad days. I think the six months is more of a pipe dream the vet said. Today i could feel a big lump in his belly more than a few days ago. Anyway, I can not even try to create much of anything. At least I am getting some more sleep but not enough. On Friday the boys were up at 4:00. At least I have some ideas for cards when I do have some time as well as kits and PP kits. This card made me smile and want to get this paper out as well as the PP kit.
I love your card! I still have 3 full packs of that DSP — so many cute cards to make with it. I grew up in rainy weather and I have so many ideas for it!
I have always loved this DSP. Great card. Jean R.
So cute, right? Thanks!
Love this card, Karen…the concept and layout are terrific! And you know I’m a big proponent of using retired product. Thanks for the great idea! We have a very rainy week ahead, so I may just CAS this one.
Thanks, Rosanne! Yes, it is very satisfying to use up some older products. I still enjoy them but they get lost in the back of my bin!
