Let’s Have a Garden Party!

Garden Lane Designer Series Paper is a beautiful mix of greens. And only greens. Well, with a smidge of white here and there. It’s pretty and fresh — makes me want to hold a garden party! I used the Floral Essence Stamp Set and Leaf Punch along with the DSP to create this card.

I used Mossy Meadow for the top-folding card base. A 5-1/4″ strip of White Flax Ribbon provides an “anchor” for the flowers and sentiment circle. Those were both stamped with Mossy Meadow ink on White cardstock. I fussy cut the flowers, then sponged around the outside edges to lessen the white and give it some definition. The centers and edges are Soft Sea Foam.

I stamped the leaves with Old Olive ink on Old Olive cardstock, then punched them out along with three sets of Vellum leaves. I love the soft addition of Vellum to almost any card!

Isn’t that sentiment beautiful? Three rhinestones and Wink of Stella in the flower centers give a touch of sparkle to the card.

I can’t believe it is Friday again, already! Who’s out enjoying the summer weather? We spent the 4th having dinner with friends in their beautiful garden. I think I may have their thank you card here! Have a great weekend!
