It’s Friday! Treat Yourself!

Yay, it’s Friday! Go ahead and treat yourself! How about a grape popsicle?

This fun and colorful card is so simple to make! All you need is the Sweet Ice Cream Stamp Set and the Ice Cream Corner Designer Series Paper.

Paper Details:

• Blackberry Bliss Cardstock base, 8-1/2″x 5-1/2″, scored and folded at 4-1/4″
• Blackberry Bliss layer, 5-1/4″x 4″
• Ice Cream Corner DSP, 5-1/4″x 4″, cut 1/2″ off each side and flip the paper over.
• Blackberry Bliss label from Tasteful Labels Dies
• Basic White label from Stitched So Sweetly Dies
• Basic White scrap to stamp and cut the popsicle

A Few More Details:

• Punch a ribbon hole in the left side of the Blackberry label with the Detailed Trio Punch.
• Stamp “Treat Yourself” across the white label and the popsicle with Blackberry Bliss ink. Glue the popsicle onto the label, lining up the letters to be a continuous script. Glue the white label to the Blackberry label, centering all sides.
• Wrap a length of Linen Thread around the top layer twice, leaving enough to tie a bow. The ends will thread through the punched hole in the Blackberry label.
• Attach labels with Dimensionals. Tie the thread in a bow. Add three pearls from the Hydrangea Hill Suite.
• Attach the decorated layer to the card base using Dimensionals (I used Black Dimensionals and they really don’t show.)

What a fun summer birthday card! Or an anytime card for any occasion! Who doesn’t love popsicles?! Do you feel like a little kid again when you eat one? It kind of takes me back… 🙂
