Introducing Sweet Sorbet

Each year Stampin’ Up! brings out five new In Colors, colors that are on trend for the current year. These colors are available for two years. There are always two sets of In Colors and they rotate in and out every year. This year we have five very vibrant colors and I’m super excited about them! They are Sweet Sorbet, Parakeet Party, Tahitian Tide, Starry Sky and Orchid Oasis. Today I’m introducing Sweet Sorbet. And it is VERY sweet!

This pinky-red reminds me of raspberry sorbet ~ yum! I’ve paired it with Tea Boutique 6″x 6″ Designer Series Paper in this card. Both will be available to order on May 3rd.

The Tea Boutique DSP has all of the new In Colors in it. It’s beautiful and I know it will be very popular. Put it on your Wish List/Order Form! These two prints are from the same sheet (front & back) ~ don’t they look fantastic together?

The Sweet Sorbet Ribbon (if I’m being totally honest) is a bit of a miss, color-wise. It doesn’t look like the same color to me at all. That being said, I love how it ties – so easily! And the sparkle in it is really pretty. Fortunately the other 4 colors are a close match to their name-sakes.

Here are the five new In Colors. I’ll highlight one/day to get you ready for May 3rd! These are going to be fun! 🙂

Look for Parakeet Party tomorrow. See you then!

  1. Beautiful card!!!

Such a pretty card. Love that fold. Being a demo and having the ribbon in front of me, I have to agree that it is really nice but a “miss” as far as the coordination though.

    • Thanks, Louise! It looks like our old Sweet Sugarplum, which I enjoyed at the time. I’ll have to pull some out and do a comparison!

So pretty. I agree about the ribbon being a bit of a miss on the color but thought that was just me. I love your card. I am thinking the sweet sorbet is my favorite of the new colors. Ask me again after all your cards are made!

    • Ha, thanks Chris! Each time I make a new card I think, “This is my favorite!” (I think I like them ALL!)
