I’m giving you a little preview of the new 2022-24 In Colors, coming May 3rd. Yesterday I introduced Sweet Sorbet and today I’m introducing Parakeet Party. Best described as “electric green!”
At first glance I thought it was Granny Apple Green all over again, but no, this one is much brighter. I have used another sheet from Tea Boutique to show off this color.
All of the products I used today will be available for purchase on May 3rd.* Basic White Cardstock and Waves Dies are available now.
Card Details
- Parakeet Party base, 8-1/2″x 5-1/2″, scored and folded at 4-1/4″
- Starry Sky Cardstock layer, 4-1/4″x 3-1/4″
- Tea Boutique 6″x 6″ DSP, 4-1/4″x 3″
- Basic White for label from Waves Dies
- Sentiment stamped in Parakeet Party from Happiness Abounds
- Parakeet Party 1/8″ Metallic Woven Ribbon
After threading the ribbon through the sentiment strip, I attached it to the back of the strip with two Dimensionals. Then I placed it on the card and secured the ends of the ribbon to the back of the layers with Stampin’ Seal. The bow is a separate length of ribbon, held with a Glue Dot.
I personally love this neon shade of green and I think it goes beautifully with the deep Starry Sky blue color!
On Monday, I’ll highlight Tahitian Tide. Ooooh, it’s been awhile since we’ve had a turquoise blue and I’m excited! Have a great weekend!
*These are available May 3, but if you’re interested in getting them sooner, consider signing up to be a demonstrator. You can receive these products in your Starter Kit right away. The Starter Kit will include $125 in product of your choosing but you will only pay $99 for it. And the shipping is free! Read about it here, then contact me for more information. I would love to have you on my Stamping Habit Team!
Good upgrade from neutrals and quieter colors COVID mail associated .. this will be a day brightener! Ooooo! Yes! What a compliment to B&W, too!
Thanks, Mrs. W! Yes, this color will definitely wake you up! 🙂
Love it.
Thanks, Phyllis!
Loving the DSP. Color, well yes it is rather electric! Great card. I agree the color goes great with the Starry Night. Reminds me of the Midnight Muse and Gumball Green that I paired together a lot.
Oh, yes it does! Thanks, Chris.
