Impressions Abloom (for CSF 886)

It’s Thursday and another Create with Stamping Friends post! This week we have a pastel color palette to work with. When I first looked at it, I thought, “Easter eggs!” No – wrong season… OK, so my next thought was flowers. I pulled out Impressions Abloom Dies with our three colors of cardstock and went to work.

Here’s our challenge:

And here’s my card:

the right words, impressions abloom dies, stylish shapes dies, cloud cover faux linen ribbon, #csf886, stampin up, karen hallam

I love all the textures on this card!

Here’s my recipe:
  • Cloud Cover Cardstock base, 8-1/2″x 5-1/2″, folded at 4-1/4″
  • Basic White Cardstock, 4-3/4″x 3-1/2″
  • Cloud Cover Faux Linen Ribbon, three pieces @ 4-1/2″ long each
  • Cloud Cover Cardstock with a 1-3/4″ Stylish Shape circle die
  • Lemon Lolly and Fresh Freesia Cardstock scraps with Impressions Abloom Dies (and a touch of Secret Sea for the centers of the flowers)
  • Cloud Cover and Secret Sea Cardstock pieces for sentiment, 2-3/4″x 1/2″ with flagged ends and The Right Words sentiment in Secret Sea ink
  • Starburst Sequins in Fresh Freesia
