Welcome to the Pals’ February blog hop. We’re so glad you’re here because it’s “Time to Sale-A-Brate”! Our Design Team created projects using Sale-A-Bration items to inspire you. You may be starting the hop here or coming from a previous Pal’s blog. Either way, you’ve come to the right place. You’ll find the the full line-up below to help you move, or “hop” along from Pal to Pal.
I think these frogs in the Sale-A-Bration brochure are adorable, and what a fun image to put on my grandsons’ valentine card! They are part of the So Hoppy Together Cling Stamp Set.
Yes, you are seeing double! This frog is just one stamp, but with the help of the Stamparatus and a Silicone Craft Sheet, I was able to do a mirror image stamp of him! I used my Stampin’ Blends to color them. Then I created a little ground for them to stand on with a stamp from Waterfront. Their glasses are shiny and textural with a blob of Fine-Tip Glue Pen in each.
They are offering a frilly valentine, stamped in Poppy Parade from Meant To Be then cropped with the Be Mine Framelits. (I liked how the tomato-red looked with their orange eyes!)
Layered with Texture:
The Corrugated Embossing Folder, Be Mine open hearts thinlit, and Stitched Shapes oval sentiment piece raised up with Dimensionals give a rich, layered look.
This envelope was fun! I added a 1/2″ strip of Poppy Parade to the top of the envelope flap. Then I glued down a 1″ piece of Brights 6″ x 6″ DSP in Poppy. Finally I added a 3/4″ strip of handmade designer paper. I made it with a variety of heart stamps and some foliage stamps using Poppy Parade and Pear Pizzazz inks onto Whisper White card stock.
More inspiration awaits! Use the Blog Hop Line-up below to visit the rest of this month’s Design Team. My fellow Pals are excited to show you what they’ve created! Don’t forget to show us some love by commenting on our creations. Mark your calendars for Wednesday, March 13, 2019 when our Hoppin’ Pals share their “Spring Has Sprung” projects. Don’t miss the fun!
HOPPY Valentine’s Day to you! Thanks for hopping in! Enjoy the rest of your day!
