It’s time for another Tic, Tac, Toe Challenge and this week it’s leaning masculine! I chose He’s All That Stamp Set for my card. Here is the challenge board:
And here’s my card. I went down the left side (masculine/car or truck/brown). I also went L to R diagonal (masculine/ free/square). Actually, the only directions I didn’t cover are the ones that included beer/drink!
Lots of Layers!
- Pecan Pie Cardstock base, 8-1/2″x 5-1/2″, folded at 4-1/4″
- Basic White layer, 5″x 3-3/4″
- Early Espresso layer, 4-3/4″x 3-1/2″
- Pecan Pie layer, embossed with Timeworn Type EF, 4-5/8″x 3-3/8″
- Basic White square, 2-5/8″
- Early Espresso square, cropped with Stylish Shapes, 2-3/8″
- Basic White Circle Punch, 1-3/4″
Put It Together:
- Stamp the classic car from He’s All That in Pecan Pie. With a Sponge Dauber add Early Espresso ink to the words “Happy Birthday to a Classic.” Glue to the center of the Espresso square.
- Next glue the Espresso square to the Basic White square. Put Dimensionals on the back and adhere it to the embossed Pecan Pie layer.
- Glue the Pecan layer to the Espresso, then to the Basic White layers.
- Wrap Linen Thread or brown Baker’s Twine around all layers twice and tie a knot.
- With Dimensionals, adhere the layers to the card base.
- Add three Metallic Dots.
- If you would like to make your classic car have a fun shine, spread some Fine Tip Glue on the car.

I hope you are having a good start to your week!

Great use of both black and white to frame your image Karen and I love the twine and pearls – just enough decoration whilst keeping a strong, masculine feel. A fab card! Thanks for playing along with us over at TicTacToe Challenge this week!
Great card. May have to CASE for my FIL next month. I have some of the new pecan pie color but I have not used any yet. Looks nice. I like the look of the timeworn type EF. I buy these folders and then too lazy to use them.
