Fresh As A Daisy (for CCMC766)

Greetings! Today we have a color challenge at Create with Connie & Mary ~ Boho Blue/Copper Clay/ Basic White. Two of our new In Colors that are so pretty together! I’ve pulled out another sheet from Fresh As A Daisy (I love this paper!) to send “a little hello!” Here is our challenge board ~

And here is my card ~

Measurements & Cuts:

• Copper Clay Cardstock base, 8-1/2″x 5-1/2″, folded at 4-1/4″
• Boho Blue layer, 5″x 3-3/4″
• Fresh As A Daisy DSP, 4-7/8″x 3-5/8″
• Copper Clay sentiment strip, 5″x 3/8″
• Boho Blue scrap for Bough Punch leaves
• Basic White scrap for Bough Punch flowers, 5-1/4″x 4″ for inside
• White Textured Shimmer Paper scrap for Bough Punch flowers
• White Baker’s Twine, approx. 14″

Details:

• I heat embossed “A little hello” from Pansy Patch with Versamark and white emboss powder. I had to perform a little surgery on the stamp to divide “A little hello” from “from me to you.” Because it’s photopolymer it was easy to snip and just as easy to mount back on a block for the full phrase.
• Next I adhered the leaves and flowers by stacking them and using Glue Dots to hold them in place.
• The double Baker’s Twine bow is also held down with a Glue Dot.
• Three Iridescent Pearls add some shine and sophistication. They look really bright white in person, but kind of disappeared in the photo!

I love these hand-painted daisies! They are so whimsical and fun.
