Hello Sweet Friend for PPA 250

My card today was inspired by the Pals Paper Arts color challenge for this week.  Here is the challenge banner —PPA250

Do you see the subtle hexagon shapes in the Lullaby Designer Series Paper?
That gave me the idea to create my sentiment in hexagon shapes as well.  The Six-Sided Sampler provided the perfect stamps and the Hexagon Punch made the cutting a snap.
I cut the front of the base card 2″ shorter on the right side, then centered the front panel, gluing only on the left side.  The white piece on the inside is carefully glued to match up perfectly with the outer white piece.
The punched hexagon pieces are lifted up on Dimensionals.  I doubled up the Dimensionals on the center white hexagon to pop it up higher than the brown ones.
The envelope is lined with the Baked Brown Sugar stripe, also from Lullaby.
A sweet little card for a sweet friend!
Thanks for stopping by! Until next time ~
Happy Stamping!
Karen

  1. This is super sweet, Karen! I love the way you matched your outside flap to the inner white and the 3 hexagons are perfect! Thanks for joining us at the PPA this week!
