Have a Wicked Good Time!

I have a wickedly fun card for you today. I bet you can guess which bundle I used!

But before I show you my card, I want to show you one more swap card that I received last week, one that didn’t make it into the first post.

Nancy is my most recent team member. She joined with a lot of stamping experience but was brand new to Stampin’ Up! I think she does a beautiful job with her cards and am so happy to have her as a new friend!

Now for my Halloween cards – yes, cards – as I made three with the same layout but different papers.

Here is #1

Wonderfully Wicked Bundle, Halloween card idea, Stampin Up, Karen Hallam, stampinup

I cased this basic layout from my good friend, Susan Itell. Thinking her highlight of the word die was brilliant, I did mine similar to hers! I used the DSP called Monster Bash which is found on page 54 of the Holiday Catalog. On the next page you will see the Wonderfully Wicked Bundle, which includes the stamp set and die.

Measurements and Minutia
  • Thick Whisper White Cardstock – 8-1/2″x 5-1/2″, scored and folded at 4-1/4″
  • Basic Black Cardstock – 5-1/4″x 4″
  • Monster Bash DSP – 5-1/8″x 3-7/8″
  • Whisper White Cardstock – 5-1/8″x 2″
  • Pumpkin Pie Cardstock – 5-1/8″x 1/4″ (2 strips)

I cut the word die “wicked” and the spider from Black Foil Sheets. Then I glued the word to a layer of Fun Foam that was cut with the same die.

“Have a….good time!” was stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black…

…as was “Happy Halloween” and the spider web on the inside.

Which do you like best? I had fun making several of these. Oops! There goes the surprise! Well, when you receive my card, you can remember that you saw it first on Karen’s Stamping Habit!  Lol!

Have a great weekend! I’m excited that my daughter and grandson will be visiting us from out of state. AND we get to have a family birthday celebration for grandson #2 who turned 6 years old this month! It’s going to be a busy one here in Granite Bay!
