Good Morning Magnolia, Revisited

It’s been awhile since I’ve shared anything with Good Morning Magnolia. It’s worth a revisit! This is a beautiful stamp set with many possibilities. I’ve decided to use the large flower image on my card today, keeping it relatively simple.

Here’s a look at the stamp set and dies. These can be bought separately or bundled with a 10% discount on the overall price.

The dies will cut out the stamped images, some of the DSP images, or make a stand-alone flower. See my post HERE to show you a 3-D magnolia made with some of these dies.

I’ve stamped the Hello sentiment with Soft Suede ink (which is also the color that I stamped the large flower with) and cropped it out with a Stitched Nested Labels die.

I colored the magnolia and leaves with my Blends alcohol markers. I used the So Saffron combination and Mint Macaron combination. Can you see that I ran the Mint layer piece through the die cutting machine with the Scripty Embossing Folder?

I also used the Scripty Embossing Folder on the envelope flap. This is a fun and economical way to decorate your envelopes. It ties the design together with the card without using additional paper.

The ribbon I used is just some that I had in my ribbon box – no identifying markers with it, I’m sorry to say. The color seemed to work well with the brown layer and ink color, so I was happy to use it! The embellies I used are gold Metallic Pearls. Again, perfect color!

  1. Another beauty Karen!

  2. Chris from Pella

Love the So Saffron with this beautiful card. Maybe I pull out this set and play some.

  3. I just love this card, especially since you chose a different color palette than the ever-present and (by now) somewhat boring pink and white we have all been doing. Beautiful use of that scripty embossing folder, too. Gorgeous out-of-the-park project, Karen. Thanks so much for the inspiration.
    Have a great weekend!
