Fragrant Layers (for CSF 926)

Welcome to our Thursday posts of Create with Stamping Friends! Today we have a color challenge ~ a beautiful combination of Basic Gray, Barely Blush, and Blackberry Bliss. I put these together using the Fragrant Layers Bundle.

My recipe:

• Basic Gray Cardstock base, 8-1/2″x 5-1/2″, scored & folded at 4-1/4″
• Another layer of Basic Gray over the top of the front, 5-1/2″x 4-1/4″
• Barely Blush Ribbon
• Barely Blush Cardstock, 4-1/8″x 3-1/8″
• Blackberry Bliss Cardstock, 3-5/8″x 2-5/8″, cut with Fragrant Layers Die
• Barely Blush Cardstock, 3-3/8″x 2-3/8″, cut flowers with Fragrant Layers Die
• Basic White Cardstock, 3-1/2″x 2-1/2″ to back the flowers, 5-1/4″x 4″ for inside, and 2-1/4″x 3/4″ for sentiment
• Scrap of Basic Gray to crop the centers of the flowers
• Rhinestone Basic Jewels

Put it together:

• Wrap the ribbon around the 5-1/2″x 4-1/4″ Basic Gray layer, adhere to the back, then glue the layer to the card base.
• Glue the Barely Blush rectangle to the center of the card.
• Crop the Blackberry Bliss floral outline piece, the Barely Blush flower piece and cut the Basic White rectangle. Line up the flowers behind the floral outline and glue in place. Dot glue around the perimeter of the Blackberry Bliss piece and adhere it to the white rectangle. Glue this to the Blush rectangle.
• Crop out the centers of the flowers with Basic Gray and paper piece them into the centers of the flowers. Add rhinestones.
• Stamp the sentiment with Basic Gray onto Basic White. Fussy cut around the words and adhere with Dimensionals.
• Tie a 4″ piece of Blush Ribbon in a single knot and adhere it with a Glue Dot.
