Fitting Florets Birthday Card

Today I have a birthday card to share with you that I made using the new Fitting Florets Designer Series Paper. I love, love, love this paper and I think I’ve used some of every sheet now! It’s only around for a limited time (till January 4th), so pick some up while you can. Here is my Fitting Florets birthday card:

framed florets bundle, fitting florets dsp, scalloped contour dies, coloring with blends, birthday card idea, stampin up, karen hallam

This time I used three of the blue papers to create a little grouping. This is one of my favorite layouts when there are three coordinating papers.

Measurements:
  • Navy background ~ 5-1/4″x 1-7/8″
  • Balmy Blue background ~ 3″x 1-7/8″
  • White background ~ 2-1/8″x 1-7/8″

These are glued to a Night of Navy card base which measures 5-1/2″x 4-1/4″. The Scalloped Contour Die that is popped up with Dimensionals measures 3-3/4″x 2-1/2″.

I used the birthday stamp from Framed Florets and Night of Navy ink. I also stamped the flowers and leafy branch with Navy ink, then colored them in with Blends Markers. The flower centers sparkle with Wink of Stella and a single pearl adorns the branch.
