Remember this cute little guy? This is a stamp set that I could never get rid of – I mean really, the cutest mice ever! Merry Mice is the name of the set. I don’t remember what year it came out but it’s been awhile. Today I’m doing Fall Back Friday, yet mixing it up with some new papers.
This is a great layout that you can use with any papers or stamp set. I want to credit Jamie Sales for the card layout. Jamie participated in a card swap and I was one of the lucky ones to receive her card. Check it out at the bottom of this post! Here’s what I used:
- Granny Apple Green Cardstock base, 7-3/4″x 5-1/2″, scored and folded at 4-1/4″
- Melon Mambo Cardstock, 4″x 2-3/4″
- Basic White Cardstock, 3-3/4″x 2-1/2″, cropped with Scalloped Contours Dies
- Granny Apple Green Foil strip, 1/4″x 5-1/2″
- Merry Bold & Bright DSP strip, 3/4″x 5-1/2″
- Inside: Basic White, 5″x 3-1/8″
Choose your stamps for the focal piece on the front. My choice was Merry Mice (long retired), stamp with Memento Tuxedo Black, and color with Blends.
For the sentiment, heat emboss with white embossing powder. My sentiment also came from the Merry Mice Stamp Set. Add some Rhinestones or other bling, because…you know, Christmas!!!
Here is Jamie’s cute card that I CASEd the layout from:
I hope these cards are a source of inspiration for you! Have an amazing weekend!
