Fabulous Frames Thank You

First of all, may I just say how much I love this free Sale-a-bration DSP? I hope you’ve put in a $50 order so you can get a pack. It’s called Rings of Love and every sheet is so pretty. You’ll find it on page 6-7 of the SAB brochure. It’s designed to go with the Rings of Nature Bundle, but is delightful on its own. Now, that being said, I want to show you my latest acquisition: Fabulous Frames Dies. I used one of the fab frames on this card, so I’m calling this post Fabulous Frames Thank You. Take a look ~

OK, now who wouldn’t love this paper?!!! I’ve cut a sheet to 5-1/4″x 4″ and glued it to a base of Poppy Parade Cardstock. Then I set about to make this framed message.

Details:

• I cut three of the frames, one with Poppy Parade, one with Basic White, and one with a used scrap of Basic White. I popped out the centers of all three and set them aside.
• Next, I glued the two white frames together and then the Poppy one on top, so it’s a stack of three for a little dimension.
• With one clean white frame center, I stamped my image and sentiment. Set the other two centers aside for another project.
• “Thank You” is from Lovely & Lasting and I used Soft Suede ink.
• The sprig is from Forever Fern and I used Sponge Daubers to apply Misty Moonlight and Granny Apple Green ink. [I know Misty Moonlight has retired, but look how it matches the paper! If you don’t have that color, Night of Navy would also work.]
• I glued the stamped rectangle down in the middle of the card front, then placed the frame around it with a light bit of Multipurpose liquid Glue. The frame will be slightly higher than the stamped piece, making it look like a framed picture.
• To jazz it up even more, I used some Iridescent Rhinestones and some (retired) Hey Sports Fan Bakers Twine.

If you enlarge the image, you’ll notice an embossed scroll in the frame, top and bottom. Love it! Here is an image of the whole die set:
