Our first CCMC challenge for October is a Color Challenge! We have Pumpkin Pie, Rich Razzleberry, and Evening Evergreen to work with. I chose Decorated With Happiness for CCMC736.
Here is the Color Banner:
And here is my card:
Card Details:
- Thick Basic White Cardstock base at 8-1/2″x 5-1/2″, scored and folded at 4-1/4″
- Lights Aglow DSP layer, 5-1/4″x 4″
- Rich Razzleberry layer, 4-7/8″x 3-1/2″
- Basic White Cardstock, cropped with Deckled Rectangle Dies, 4-5/8″x 3-1/4″
- Decorated With Happiness Stamp Set stamped with Evening Evergreen, Pumpkin Pie, and Rich Razzleberry inks
- White Baker’s Twine colored with Rich Razzleberry Blend (Dark)
- Brushed Metallic Dots, gold
- Glimmer Specialty Paper, gold, cut in slivers for “strings”
Here’s another look ~
I used the coordinating dies to cut one small star shape to glue in the center of the Pumpkin Pie ornament, topped with a Metallic Dot. The strings on the ornaments are slivers of gold Glimmer Paper – the tiniest of cuts on the paper cutter. For a little more sparkle, I added Wink of Stella to the stars that are scattered around the branch.
Now before you leave, click HERE to see what the other designers made with these colors. I am excited to see their creations, too!
Have a great day!

Karen this is awesome!! Love the color combo. I have been looking for ideas with this stamp set – my boughs of Jolly stamp seems to stamp very “fuzzy” no matter what I do. Yours looks very crisp!!
Sheri, it may be a defective stamp. You should call SU and talk to them. They may send you a new one! Thanks for the feedback. I appreciate it!
Very pretty card, Karen. I love the colors you used for this card. Enjoy your day!
Thanks so much, Hilda! Have a good weekend!
Thanks I love this idea.
Oh, good! Thanks, Diane!
