Welcome to our November edition of Creating Coast to Coast! Rosanne, from Pennsylvania, is starting us off this month with the theme of “Gift Giving.” We’ll look at her project first, then come back to California to see mine. Let’s travel from…

Rosanne’s Project:

Gorgeous! I can’t wait to see how she made this! Click HERE to jump over to Heartfelt Stamping and read all the details!
Now for my project:
Last week I held a Card Class and this card was one that we made. I want to show you two versions of one design that I offered to participants. Everyone picked the Fun Fold version, but I’ll show you the simple card version as well, just in case that appeals to you!
First the Fun Fold/Gift Card version:

Here it is as it looks right out of the envelope.

And here it is opened up!
Recipe:
For the Base ~
- Pretty Peacock Cardstock, 5-1/2″x 4-1/4″
- Cherry Cobbler layer, 5-1/4″x 4″
- Elegant Pine Snowflakes DSP, 5-1/8″x 3-7/8
And for the Fold Out ~
- Pretty Peacock Cardstock, 8-1/4″x 4″, scored at 2-3/4″ from each end
- Cherry Cobbler layer, 3-3/4″x 2-1/2″
- Basic White Cardstock, (front) 3-5/8″x 2-3/8″, (sentiment banner) 2-1/4″x 1/2″, (inside)3-3/4″x 2-1/2″
- Elegant Pine Snowflakes DSP for the card holder, 2-11/16″ wide x 2-3/8″ high, adhered with 1/8″ Tear & Tape (you’ll need to cut the Tear & Tape lengthwise to make it narrow enough)
Last, for the Decor ~
- Old Olive Cardstock, Christmas Greenery Dies, brushed with Pretty Peacock ink
- Cherry Cobbler Cardstock, sprig and bow from Christmas Greenery Dies
- Cherry Cobbler Baker’s Twine (retired, but you can color your own with Cherry Cobbler Blends!)
- Sentiment banner punched with Three Banner Punch
- Sentiments with Pretty Peacock ink, Traditional Labels Stamp Set and (retired) Framed & Festive Stamp Set

Alternate Version:

Except for the base, this card has the same measurements as the first. The base is a regular A2 card, measuring 8-1/2″ 5-1/2″, folded at 4-1/4″. The pine branch also comes from Christmas Greenery Dies. And the embellishments are the silver Faceted Snowflakes.

Which of my two cards would you pick? Or maybe you’ll make both? I love this Elegant Pines Snowflakes DSP with its blues and greens and tiny touch of Cherry Cobbler! So pretty! I’ll share another card that I made with a different sheet of this paper on Friday.
I hope you enjoyed our cross-country trek today. Now you have two fun gift-card holders to try! Thanks for joining us!

Both cards are lovely and really show the versatility in this layout. Thanks for another crafting adventure!
Both cards are very pretty, Karen. I think for Christmas I would choose the pine boughs, but then the beautiful leaf is also very nice.
Thanks, Hilda!
