Traditions of Christmas (for CSF 896)

What are your Traditions of Christmas? Are you a red/green person or do you venture into pinks, blues, purples? For Create with Stamping Friends this week, we have a more traditional color palette for Christmas, so I picked Traditions of Christmas DSP for my card.

Here it is:

I added Gold Foil to the color palette, otherwise – Cherry Cobbler, Old Olive, and Pool Party. Pretty, isn’t it? I love this paper!

Recipe:
  • Cherry Cobbler Cardstock base, 8-1/4″x 5-1/2″, folded at 4-1/8″  *I cut this down 1/4″ from a regular A2 measurement to make the layers more evenly spaced.
  • Gold Foil, 5-1/8″x 3-3/4″  *Cut out the middle to use on another project!
  • Traditions of Christmas DSP, Old Olive plaid, Branching Out Dies 4-7/8″x 3-1/2″
  • Basic White Cardstock, Branching Out Dies 4-1/2″x 3-1/8″
  • Traditions of Christmas DSP, floral print, Branching Out Dies 3-7/8″x 2-1/2″
  • Sentiment from Branching Out Stamp Set on Basic White, gold heat embossing, cropped with smallest Deckled Circles Die
  • Black & White & Gold Baker’s Twine (white & gold one) bow
  • Three Pool Party Frosted Iridescent Dots

Love this! I guess I’m more of a traditionalist when it comes to Christmas colors! Not that I don’t enjoy a non-traditional color palette as well!
