I purchased the Countryside Inn Suite Collection as part of my 2023-24 Annual Catalog Preorder. As soon as it arrived I dove in and started playing with all the parts and pieces. It includes this really pretty blue dresden(ish) Designer Series Paper, Countryside Corners Stamp Set and Dies, and Countryside Blossoms Embossing Folder. It has most of the blues ~ Balmy Blue, Misty Moonlight, Boho Blue, and Night of Navy. And a big surprise to me ~ it coordinates nicely with Sentimental Park! So I used both bundles on today’s card as well as a little of everything else included in the Suite.
You can’t tell from this first photo, but I took an inch off the bottom of the card base. The blue floral paper is really glued to the bottom of the inside. Here’s another look:
Materials & Measurements:
- Night of Navy Cardstock base, 7-1/2″x 5-1/2″, with a top fold at 4-1/4″
- Countryside Inn DSP, (navy) 5-1/2″x 3-1/4″, (floral) 5-1/2″x 1-1/4″
- Basic White Cardstock, 4″x 2-1/2″ for center octagonal-shape die, scraps for flower stamp/die, and 3-1/2″x 2″ for center octagonal-shaped embossed piece (Countryside Blossoms Emb. Folder)
- Misty Moonlight Cardstock, 4″x 2-1/2″
- Three Boho Blue In Color Dots
And here is the inside:
- Basic White Cardstock, 5-1/2″x 2-3/4″
- Misty Moonlight 1/8″ strip
Countryside Corners Bundle
I want to show you this bundle. It’s very unique! The stamp is one large stamp:
Front, horizontal orientation
Back, vertical orientation
But the dies come in a pack of 7 dies, each one cutting a section from the stamped image. You can cut it as large or small as you want. You can use one part of the stamped image, the whole image, or any part in between. Here are the dies and some of the left-over pieces I had:
I stamped the whole image using Misty Moonlight ink, then cut up the individual parts to decide what I wanted to use on this card. I ended up using the third largest and the smallest with the banner die inlaid.
For the flowers, I stamped the outline stamp from Sentimental Park with Misty Moonlight, full strength. Then I stamped the inside filler stamp with 2nd generation Misty Moonlight. I think if you use Boho Blue you will get the same color as MM stamped off once. Next time I’ll try that.
Here’s one more look. I lined the envelope flap with an older Misty Moonlight 6″X 6″ DSP. The adhesive-backed Dots are part of the new In Color collection.
The Countryside Inn Suite, Misty Moonlight Cardstock and ink, and In Color Dots will all be available for purchase on May 2.
A Challenge!
I started designing this with the current Tic Tac Toe Challenge in mind. I was able to accomplish more than one row of the Tic Tac Toe! Here is the Challenge Board ~
I can go down the middle with Die Cut/Free/Embossing, diagonal with Floral/Free/Enamel Dot, and across the bottom with Floral/Embossing/Stitching! Fun!

Help! Your card is gorgeous but I don’t understand how you got the misty moonlight peeking out behind the basic white embossed piece. My mind can’t figure it out and I’ve cut every imaginable piece.
Hi Shirley! Thanks! After I cut the white (embossed) middle piece, I trimmed off 1/8″ on all sides. That way it shows the blue behind it, which I die cut from the same die as the larger “frame” shape. I hope that helps!
Beautiful card, Karen! This is the first time I’ve seen the Countryside Collection used & I love it! Great job ❤ Thanks for sharing.
Such a pretty card, Karen. This was my first look at the Countryside Inn in “action”. I knew I would love it! Thanks for showcasing how the stamp and dies work…it’s a different but nice concept.
