Clean & Simple

I have a clean & simple card for you on this Friday morning. The stamp set I used is the beautiful new Painted Poppies. I only used the two largest flower stamps and stamped them with Blueberry Bushel on Thick Whisper White. I drew the stems on with a Blueberry Bushel Stampin’ Write Marker.

Next I used a small circle punch to cut three flower centers out of Noble Peacock Foil Sheets and glued them to the three larger flowers. Then I centered the panel over a slightly larger cut of Blueberry Bushel 6″x 6″ DSP and glued it to the base of Thick Whisper White.

My sentiment came from Itty Bitty Birthday Wishes. I stamped it with Versamark Ink onto a piece of Blueberry Bushel, sprinkled it with white embossing powder, then heat set it.

Next I cropped around it with the smallest Stitched Rectangle Die and adhered it to the front with Dimensionals.

I told you it was simple…but in kind of an elegant way! I got inspiration for this design from a Home Decor Catalog. Do you ever do that? It’s kind of fun to browse through the catalogs with a “designer eye” thinking about card possibilities. I was inspired by this picture:
