Lily Impressions for the Pals Blog Hop!

Welcome to the Pals’ Blog Hop! We’re so glad you’re here because it’s “Time to Sale-A-Brate”! We’re showcasing our favorite new products from 2020 Sale-A-Bration brochure. You may be starting the hop here or coming from a previous Pal’s blog. Either way, you’ve come to the right place. You’ll find the full line-up below to help you move, or “hop” along from Pal to Pal.

Here comes some more impressionistic art made into Designer Series Paper! Lily Impressions is a beautiful collection of designer papers that is NOT short on color. It boasts blues, purples, pinks, greens, a touch of yellow and orange! My biggest decision was which one to use for my first card!

My eye was drawn to this watery blue with lily pads in greens and flowers of pink. So I pulled out the Garden Green for the base and layered it with a skinny bit of Lovely Lipstick. I created two lilies with Vellum and Lovely Lipstick. Then I added leaves with Granny Apple Green cardstock stamped with Garden Green.

Stamping Habit Tip:

Use double-sided adhesive sheet under the Lovely Lipstick when you cut out the lilies, then adhere to the Vellum. You will have to cut around the outside of the lilies to cut the Vellum. Go over the edges with your Lovely Lipstick Blend or Stampin’ Write Marker afterward to hide any cutting imperfections!

The sentiment I chose is from Peaceful Moments (part of the Peaceful Poppies Suite). I stamped it in Garden Green onto a white label cut with Stitched Nested Labels Dies.

For the “jewelry on the outfit” I picked a bit of Flirty Flamingo 1/8″ ribbon and a pink rhinestone from Noble Peacock Rhinestones.

The best part of this card is the cost! I picked the three major elements from the Sale-A-Bration Brochure ~ they were FREE! I chose the Lily Impressions DSP, earned by spending $50 on catalog items. Then I picked the stamp set, Lovely Lily Pad, for another $50. The dies, Lily Pad Dies, are available for free with a $100 purchase. It is so fun to have three coordinating products to pull together lots of great projects! Start collecting your SAB free items by making a purchase HERE.
