Bloom Boutique (CASE for CSF)

We are now in July! And at Create with Stamping Friends this month we are CASEing the Catalog! To CASE means to Copy and Selectively Edit someone else’s design. We have a selection of cards to CASE out of the current catalog. And first up is this one on page 17, using Bloom Boutique DSP.

Here’s our inspiration:

And here’s how I CASEd it:

It’s a pretty close copy! I used the same base color, Golden Glow, and the Bloom Boutique DSP. But I changed up the flora and used Lovely Arrangements instead. The small leaves are from Lovely Arrangements Dies and the large leaf branch is from Nature’s Symphony. We have so many great florals to choose from right now!

On the inside, I layered a 1/4″ strip of Bloom Boutique over a 3/4″ strip of Golden Glow Pearlized Paper.

I used the same sentiment as the one in the catalog. It’s from Scalloped Blooms, part of the overall Suite.

Cutting Measurements:
  • Golden Glow Cardstock base, 11″x 4-1/4″, folded at 5-1/2,”  sentiment strip 2-3/4″x 5/8″
  • Bloom Boutique DSP, 4-1/4″x 4-1/4″
  • Basic White Cardstock, 5-1/4″x 4″ for inside, 4″x 2″ for stamping flowers
  • Soft Sea Foam Cardstock leaves, 4-1/2″x 1-1/2″ (before cropping)
  • Peaceful Pine Cardstock for large branch, 4-1/2″x 3-1/2″ (before cropping)

To embellish, I added three Golden Glow In Color Dots.

Now hop over to Create with Stamping Friends to see some more ideas for CASEing this card. Enjoy!
