Blackberry Beauty Just For You

I was flipping through the bits of Designer Series Paper that I have left from this past year’s Annual Catalog, and I came upon this lovely little piece of Blackberry Beauty just for you! It’s so pretty without much fuss and that’s what I needed – a quick and easy yet beautiful card!

The ribbon laces right through the holes in the label, and I’ve attached the label to the card with Mini Glue Dots. The sentiment is from Sweet Strawberry and is stamped with Early Espresso ink.

This is an easy one to CASE and to make multiples of!

Have a great week!

Beautiful. I have that paper but hardly used any of it. I think I will be using this sheet for sure. Simply gorgeous. Who would have thought of using the strawberry set for the sentiment. Fits perfectly! That gold die cut is perfect and like you said it holds the ribbon perfectly.

  2. This was one of my favorite DSP collections—I love it when the paper can be the focal point. Your use of the painted label die and gold foil for the sentiment base is a bullseye, too. Love this card, big time!♥️

  3. Lovely card Karen, did you punch all those tiny gold dots for the flowers, if so what did you use please as I would love to case if you don’t mind ❤️

    • Hi Brenda, No the gold was part of this specialty paper. You can also achieve the look by stamping a “splatter” stamp with Versamark Ink and used Gold Emboss Powder and heat set it, or there are Gold Metallic Pens on the market that would also give you a pretty shiny gold. Try looking on Amazon for those.
