Berry Blessings (A Sneak Peek)

This new Sale-A-Bration stamp set and Designer Series Paper is berry cute! The two items are free with a $100 purchase from Stampin’ Up! beginning January 5, 2021. The stamp set is called Berry Blessings and the paper is called Berry Delightful DSP.

Directions

You will want to earn this freebie ~ it is my very favorite. To make this card, I cut a piece of the DSP to 4″ x 4″ and glued it to a 5-1/4″x 4″ piece of Garden Green cardstock. I embossed a 1-1/4″x 4″ piece of Rich Razzleberry with the Wrapped in Texture Embossing Folder, and glued it to the green cardstock right under the DSP.

Next I ran a piece of Blackberry Bliss Striped Ribbon (available Jan 5) over and around the seam of the papers, adhering it to the back. Then I glued that whole front panel to a Garden Green card base.

Add the Focal Point

I started with the second to largest stitched scalloped rectangle from Sweetly Stitched Dies. Then I stamped the berries twice with Rich Razzleberry. I colored them in with a Blender Pen, picking up the color from the stamped image. Next I colored the top half of the stamp with a Rich Razzleberry Stampin’ Write Marker and stamped over the first image to get the different shades. The Stamparatus makes this so easy!

The leaves are a two-step stamping process. I made two each of Garden Green and Granny Apple Green. There are no dies for these images as of yet, so I fussy cut them out with my Paper Snips. I stamped the stems for the berries with Garden Green, and the sentiment from another new coordinating set called Sweet Strawberry (available Jan 5) in Rich Razzleberry.

The inside gets my fourth leaf.
