BBQ for Father’s Day

My friend asked me for a Father’s Day card for her husband. I know from past conversations that he isn’t a Tim the Tool Man (darn, I have all those cute framelits!) but he does love to barbeque! I got this idea from Tami White ~ thank you, Tami! ~ and I made some changes to make it my own. I love the idea and may have to use this for my hubby as well 🙂
Quick details:
The base card is Soft Sky.
The Weber Kettle is punched from a 1-3/4″ circle punch. I used some Urban Underground DSP (retiring).
The legs, handle, and inside circles on the wheels are cut from a silver Foil Sheet.
I hinged the kettle open with a tiny brad.
The silver inner wheels are trimmed down from a 3/4″ punch and the black inner circles are from a 1/4″ circle punch.
The Smoky Slate smoke is from Swirly Scribbles Thinlits.
The Wild Wasabi grass is from Basket Builders Framelits.
The white clouds are from Up and Away Thinlits.
I stamped Happy Father’s Day on the inside with a stamp from Guy Greetings, so I used Today’s the Day from Happy Happenings (retiring) on the front.
Thanks for visiting my blog today! If you have any questions about this card or any other, please contact me. I will be happy to get right back to you. If you want to order any of the products that I used on this card, simply click on the product picture below and it will take you to my online store.
Go have a great day!

  1. This is just an adorable card, I had to write down the details, so I could find everything I needed and make two of these cards.
