Crafting Forever for CPC71

Thank you for visiting Karen’s Stampin’ Habit!  Today I’ve designed a card with some new products that will be available to everyone on June 1st when the 2017-18 Annual Catalog goes live.
This fun stamp set is called Crafting Forever.  It comes in either Clear Block Mount or Wood Mount red rubber. The images are perfect for crafters like you!
My inspiration for this card is a sketch from Craft Project Central ~ CPC71. Here is the sketch:
As you can see, I turned the sketch on it’s head, and added the sentiment on the lower right. I understand that these sketches are for inspiration and not necessarily to be copied exactly — good thing, huh?
The Designer Series Paper that I used is also new. It’s called Delightful Daisy, and I just know that it is going to be my favorite this year. The prints are gorgeous and the colors are so yummy. This one is a Calypso Coral watercolor wash. I think the terra cotta tone looks perfect with the little painted pot.
I stamped the paintbrush images with Basic Black Archival onto thick Whisper White and watercolored them with my Aqua Painter.  I colored the gray block with Watercolor Pencils and fussy cut it out.  The images are popped up on Dimensionals over a double strand of Baker’s Twine.
On the inside, I used two more of the stamps in this set ~
So fun! If you would like to order this set, I have linked it to my online store in the Product List below. If you are a Stampin’ Up!
