Here’s a fun little card to give someone who has just been through surgery and you want to tell them, “Hope you’re back on your feet soon.”
The stamp set is called Back On Your Feet, appropriately enough! I love the little critters and the cheeky sentiments that go with them. . .
. . . a smile-maker for sure!
I made this a 4-1/4″ square card. I don’t know what it is, but I’ve been making a lot of square cards lately. They appeal to me. Of course it really depends on the stamped image and its size. This one fit nicely into a 2″ square of Whisper White. I stamped the turtle with Memento Black Ink and used Shaded Spruce, Mint Macaron, and Night of Navy Blends to color him.
My base is Coastal Cabana and the patterned paper (isn’t it fun?!) is from Playing With Patterns 6 x 6 DSP. The ribbon is Pool Party 3/8″ Sheer Ribbon. This ribbon is awesome! It has a subtle sparkle to it that dances in the light. And it’s very easy to tie. Love!
