Happy Wednesday to you! Today I’m taking a rare departure (partially) from Stampin’ Up! to create an autumn mosaic for GDP #261. It’s a color challenge with Cajun Craze, Pumpkin Pie, and Mint Macaron. I thought it would be fun to paper piece this Gentle Leaf Collage by Poppystamps.
Here is the banner that inspired my card.
I cut the leaf collage from Thick Whisper White to make the card front. Then I cut it again from Cajun Craze, Pumpkin Pie, and Mint Macaron Cardstock. After punching out all of the white pieces, I glued the Whisper White piece to a Cajun Craze DSP later. I pulled the “puzzle” pieces out of the colored cardstock and created a mosaic by replacing each hole with the colors.
“Thank you” is stamped in Cajun Craze from the Beautiful Autumn Stamp Set by Stampin’ Up!
Copper flower sequins by Honey Bee match nicely with the Cajun Craze.
I lined the outside flap of the envelope with a piece from Gilded Autumn Designer Series Paper.
