Another Card (with Elegant Pine Snowflakes DSP)

On Wednesday for Creating Coast to Coast, I showed you a Fun Fold Gift Card Holder with Elegant Pine Snowflakes DSP. You can see it HERE. And I promised another card today using the same paper, different sheet. This particular sheet has a dark, moody feel with the same blues/greens/cherry colors that I love.

Here’s my card:

traditional labels stamp set, elegant pine snowflakes dsp, party banners dies, christmas/holiday card idea, stampin up, karen hallam

I added in some Pool Party layering to pull out the bits of blue in the foliage.

Recipe:
  • Pretty Peacock Cardstock base, 8-1/2″x 5-1/2″, folded at 4-1/4″
  • Pool Party Cardstock layer, 5″x 3-3/4″
  • Elegant Pine Snowflakes DSP, 4-3/4″x 3-1/2″
  • Ribbon, 5″ to wrap around the layers + 3″ to tie a knot
  • Party Banners Dies, Pool Party Cardstock 3″x 2-1/4″, and Basic White 2-1/8″x 1-5/8″
  • Old Olive Cardstock for pine bough, 4-1/2″x 2-1/2″, (retired die from Peaceful Boughs)
  • Cherry Cobbler Cardstock scrap for sprig, Christmas Greenery Dies
  • Traditional Labels Stamp Set for sentiment, stamped with Secret Sea ink
  • Three Holographic Resin Dots

Which do you prefer ~ this dark, moody pattern or the light, bright one from Wednesday? Both are beautiful, each with their own personality!

Have a great weekend!
