A Final Look at the 2016-18 In Colors

It seems like just yesterday we were looking at these colors for the first time! Two years have zoomed by so fast, haven’t they? Now it’s time to pack them up and make room for our new 2018-20 In Colors. BUT first, I’m going to share five more samples of note cards that I’ve made with these retiring colors. I’m starting with Peekaboo Peach!

This soft color has become one of my favorites. It wasn’t at first. But like most colors, the more I used it, especially with our pretty designer papers, the more I appreciated it’s beauty. I’m using Tutti Frutti DSP on this card, which is also retiring, but hasn’t sold out yet. You still have a chance to get some before June 1st.

The sentiment on the from is from Lemon Zest. The options for the inside are endless. Maybe this is a birthday card -? or a Father’s Day card -? or a just because I love you card -? You pick.

I am crazy for the pre-cut Note Cards & Envelopes. You get twenty cut and scored cards with the perfectly sized envelopes for only $6.50/pack. I’m using Whisper White on these, but my last set was with Very Vanilla.

Lots of layering gives this simple card some visual interest. I layered Peekaboo Peach with Lemon Lime Twist, glued to Whisper White. The center white panel measures 2-1/4″ X 3″ and I glued two skinny 1/2″ x 3″ strips of Lemon Lime Twist to the top and bottom.
