Can you say, SWEET? Sweet Sugarplum is about to retire, and I have enjoyed working with this color!
I love how it pairs with Rich Razzleberry, and in this Tutti-Frutti DSP it is sprinkled in with several colors.
Using a Whisper White Note Card & Envelope, I started with a layer of Sweet Sugarplum. I added two skinny 1/2″ strips of Tutti Frutti DSP along the sides, then glued the multi-colored DSP to the top of that.
For the sentiment piece I cropped out two squares using Layering Squares Framelits, one in Sweet Sugarplum and the next size down in Whisper White. Then I rounded the corners to mimic the pattern in the DSP (did you notice?!) I stamped the sentiment from Eastern Beauty in Rich Razzleberry and the little corner flourishes in Sweet Sugarplum.
Since I thought the pattern on the card was a bit too bold to use on the envelope flap, I chose a coordinating, less flashy, piece of Tutt-Frutti DSP to adorn the back flap. It’s so easy to mix and match papers when you buy from Stampin’ Up! They are very thoughtful when designing these papers to make lots of coordinating pieces.

Hi Karen, rich raspberry is one of my favorite colors. I love your layers and your cropped Corners. I think the envelope looks perfect.
