You’re Sublime Flower Cart

We had a blast making these cards during a Watercolor Class that I offered last Friday night.  We actually made it in a different color combination, but this was one I made to show an optional color choice.  The idea for this card was inspired by my talented upline, Susan Itell.  Isn’t it great?  These are the stamp sets we used:

First, we masked off the thank you greeting with tape, then we heat embossed the flower cart onto a 3″ square of watercolor paper using black embossing powder.  On this one, I heat embossed the birthday greeting as well.  Then we painted the cart using Aqua Painters and a variety of ink colors.  I mounted this one to Basic Black and So Saffron layers, then onto a 4 1/4″ square Real Red card base.
For extra fun details, use a mini brad (click link to see) for the center of the wheel and an acrylic heart sticker (Itty Bitty Accents Epoxy Stickers) to the heart image in the center of the flower cart.  I do love those little extra touches!
Don’t forget!  Tomorrow begins the last of the Weekly Deals!  I will post them for you here tomorrow.  But you still have one more day to get these products at a great price:
