You Light Up My Life ~ Tic Tac Toe #7

I have jumped on board with the Tic Tac Toe Challenge this week, after missing the last two! I enjoy these challenges — it’s fun to see the options and let the imagination go! Here is the board for challenge #7 ~
I chose the top row with acetate (I saw a window sheet), critter (firefly), and diecut (window + flower box). Looking at it again I realize I also fulfilled the right vertical row with diecut, floral, and yellow! What do you know?!!!
My critter is the cute little firefly – technically an insect — does that count? This little guy comes from the Jar of Love stamp set and Everyday Jars Framelits. I colored his body Daffodil Delight with my Stampin’ Write Marker, sparkled up his wings, and drew a trail in the window with my Basic Black Marker.
I used Wood Textures DSP for the siding on the house and window box. I layered it on Early Espresso cardstock, and cut the window out with Espresso using the Hearth & Home Framelits. Rectangles of white cardstock and of a Window Sheet are secured behind the window framelit.
My flower box is filled with blooms and greens from Beautiful Bouquet stamps and Bouquet Bunch Framelits (available as a Bundle for a 10% discount.) I cut a doily and tucked it up under the box.
I added another firefly on the inside with a little “light” and the cute sentiment from Jar of Love.
Click on over to www.tictactoechallenge.com and see all of the fun entries for this challenge! Try one yourself! If this isn’t something you usually do, stretch your wings a little and fly (yep, puns intended!)
Have a great day!  See you back here on Friday ~
