Personal Goal Attempted…

I made it a personal goal this year to use up all of my old retired holiday Designer Series Paper. Ask me if I even got close…. not a chance! But I did find a way to use some of it and I wonder if you might be in the same situation as me? Cupboards overflowing???? Each year at Christmas our cul-de-sac neighbors share plates of homemade cookies or treats. This year I made a version of Chex Mix but with a caramel coating. How to package it? I had some plain white handled bags that were the perfect size, but a little boring. So I dug out some of my retired papers and ribbons and went to work. Here’s what I ended up with:

I love these and think it’s a great way to use up some paper. Making bags with DSP is fun too – if you saved your sheets in 12″x 12″. I went through a while back and cut them all down to 6″x 6″ for storage and that does limit what I can do with them. But I’m happy with these bags! 🙂
