Wish Big!

I am head-over-heels in love with this BIG butterfly die cut! It is so delicate and gorgeous. It’s part of the Butterflies Thinlits pack. Buy it separately or as a bundle with the Butterfly Basics stamp set and save 15%!

I went on a hunt for a paper that would compliment my big butterfly. I knew I wanted something with green in it, and the print couldn’t be so busy as to camouflage it. I found this perfect little print in the Pretty Petals Designer Series Paper Stack. The butterfly was also cut from a print in that same stack.

I knew that the butterfly needed to be backed by Very Vanilla to really stand out. Two panels of DSP on either side, all framed with skinny black layers seemed to work very well.

Such a large butterfly need a big card to sit on, so I made this a 5 1/4″ square. You know what that means…a custom envelope! The Envelope Punch Board came to my rescue. It is so great that we can make envelopes to fit just about any size card we want to make!
