Materials & Measurements:
  • Pretty Peacock Cardstock, 11″x 4-1/4″, scored and folded at 5-1/2″ for a top-folding card
  • Plaid Tidings DSP, 4-1/2″x 4-1/4″
  • Whisper White Cardstock, 5″x 4-1/4″
  • Curvy Dies (these were on pre-order during Nov. and will be in the catalog January 5)
  • Winter Woods, Snow Front, and Itty Bitty Christmas Stamp Sets
  • Shaded Spruce, Crumb Cake, and Versamark ink pads
  • Frost White Shimmer Paint, Blue Adhesive-Backed Gems, Wonderful Gems, and Misty Moonlight/Silver Twine from Flowers For Every Season Combo Ribbon Pack
Step by Step Directions:
  • Glue the Plaid Tidings DSP to the top edge of the card base along the fold.
  • Crop the curvy line along the Whisper White Cardstock using Curvy Dies and the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine.
  • Glue the cropped Whisper White Cardstock along the bottom edge of the card base.
  • Stamp the tree image from Winter Woods with Shaded Spruce ink.
  • Make a mask with the same tree stamp and scissors. Cover over the first stamped image, then stamp the ground with Crumb Cake and the stamp from Winter Woods. Stamp in various places, including across the tree mask so it looks like the ground stamp is going behind the tree.
  • Remove the mask and save for another time. Decorate the tree with gems, Shimmer Paint dots, and a twine bow.

  • Stamp the two small deer from Snow Front using Crumb Cake ink.
  • Using Versamark, stamp the sentiment onto a Pretty Peacock strip, then heat emboss with Silver Emboss Powder. Cut the strip to the correct size, about 2-1/2″x 1/2″.  Add a small bit of DSP at the left end, and attach the strip with a Foam Adhesive Strip cut to size.
