Wildflower Birthday Fun Fold

I played along with Jeanie Stark’s Mystery Monday Stampin’ again this week! If you want to play along before seeing my card, click HERE. It’s fun and she does an excellent job of giving clues! I chose to make a Wildflower Birthday fun fold card while following her clues. But don’t peek until giving it a try! Then come back and see my card (below all the announcements and such…) and compare your card to mine! Are they anything alike?

Feature of the Day ~ my Wildflower Birthday Fun Fold:

birthday celebrations, wildflower birthday specialty dsp, spotlight on nature dies, birthday card idea, stampin up, karen hallam

On the front, I used:
  • Peach Pie Cardstock, 4-1/4″x 11″, folded in half at 5-1/2″
  • Wildflower Birthday DSP, 5-1/4″x 4″
  • Peach Pie and Basic White Cardstock, cropped with Spotlight on Nature Dies (2 largest sized circles)
  • Punchouts from Wildflower Birthday Specialty DSP
  • Peach Pie 2024-26 In Color Flat Pearl embellishments

Lift the front up and it reveals a gate fold from DSP. This is also Wildflower Birthday DSP, the Soft Sea Foam side showing. The DSP measures 8″x 5-1/4″ and is scored at 2″ and 6″. “Door handles” are from Notes & Totes Dies, cropped from Gold Foil Sheets.

Open the doors of the DSP and you see the interior of the card! Happy Birthday is stamped in Blueberry Bushel from the Birthday Celebration Stamp Set. More punchouts decorate the inside.

I added another punchout to the envelope flap for fun. I would caution you to glue this down very well if you are sending it through the mail. Or play it safe and just hand deliver this card!

So…did your card look anything like mine? 😊 Probably not, unless you used the same Designer Series Paper! One of the fun things about this exercise is that everyone’s is different. Jeanie posts all of the cards she receives photos of on Sundays. If you are interested, check out her Sunday post! Then play along next week!

Happy Crafting!
