Wildflower Birthday Cupcake

I love a good cupcake! Are you with me? Wildflower Birthday Specialty Designer Series Paper has some yummy looking cakes and cupcakes in the designs. I’ve cut one out today to be the centerpiece of my card ~ a Wildflower Birthday Cupcake!

Except for the fact that the blue icing will stain your mouth for a day or two, this looks pretty tempting! 😆

I cut the cupcake image from one of the sheets you get with Wildflower Birthday DSP. Here’s a look at that sheet:

In case the shiny gold doesn’t show in the last photo, here’s another angle ~

If you are worried about the square card being more expensive to mail, this 4-1/4″ x 4-1/4″ card fits nicely into a regular medium envelope and will require only one first-class stamp. Another tip to keep the card pristine through the mail is to put a piece of scrap cardstock measuring 5-1/2″x 4-1/4″ in the envelope with the card!

OK, now that our sweet tooth has been tickled, let’s go eat a cupcake! 🧁😋

Have a sweet day!

    Your card looks utterly delicious!

  2. This is very cute Karen. I need to look more closely at that pack of DSP! Thanks for the inspiration!

Love this! I rarely make square cards but this may be something fun and different for me to give it a whirl. I like the idea of mailing it in a regular envelope that way. My hand is not cooperating very well but I bet I can fussy cut the cupcake and make at least one of these in the next few days. So sweet!

    • Thanks, Chris! You don’t have to fussy cut the cupcake, just the square around it. And you can do that with a Paper Trimmer. Much easier that way!
