Do you ever get an idea in your head and then struggle to execute that idea? No? Only me, huh…! 🙂 I wanted to look out a window to see some of our beautiful New Horizons DSP. It (kind of) worked here. This is Welcoming Window View On the Horizon!
Card Details:
- Card base of Crumb Cake Cardstock, 5-1/2″x 8-1/2″, scored and folded at 4-1/4″
- In Good Taste DSP, 5-1/2″x 4-1/4″ with a window cut in the middle using Window Dies
- More In Good Taste DSP cut to fit below the window
- In Good Taste DSP to create window casings and ledge
- Heart & Home DSP for curtain valence and envelope flap
- New Horizons DSP with trees from On the Horizon Stamp Set, cut and set behind the window
- In Good Taste DSP for the pitcher
- Pot and flowers from Welcoming Window Stamp Set and Dies
- Sentiment from Sweet as a Peach Stamp Set, stamped with Garden Green ink and cut with coordinating die
- White 1/4″ Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon
I love the pitcher cut from one of the In Good Taste DSP sheets. I raised the window ledge up on craft foam, cut with the same die.
The window valence is cut from a Window Die and glued to two matching cuts of craft foam. There is a skinny 1/8″ strip of Early Espresso separating the two DSP patterns. Dimensionals hold up the pitcher, pot, & flowers.
There’s a beautiful sunrise out that window this morning! Enjoy the view!
